Hey ya'll what's happening? It is a lovely morning today in Texas! I totally MUST walk today, even though my butt is SO SORE, because tommorrow a cold front is coming in, and also a chance of rain. DRAT! It is easier to lose whne I can walk everyday. I have a little confession to make. Yesterday we went out for Brandon's company Christmas party, and I ate far too few calories for the day. I truly did not mean to, I was just very busy all day. I woke up around 9:45, worked out for an hour, ate a 4 oz yogurt with 1/4 cup cottage cheese, did housework for a couple hours, took Kaelyn for a 4 mile walk, ate a hardboiled egg white for a snack(I guess it was my lunch but I meant for it to be a snack)and as soon as I got back it was rush rush to get ready to get Kaelyn to her babysitters so we wouldn't be late at the bowling alley for the party. The party was an hour earlier that we thought so that caused extra stress. While I was running around trying to get everything together, i was like, OMG I have had about 100 calories today an it is 5:00!!, so I grabbed an apple, a baggie of pistachioes, and a cheese stick and a Fresca, stuffed them in my purse. I also took a B-complex vitamin before leaving for energy. Well it was a good plan, but the combination of cigarette smoke all around me at the bowling alley, and the social stress of not knowing anyone except Brandon, who was on a seperate team, totally caused me to lose my appetite. I wanted to eat something regardless, but I wanted real food, not the little snacks I brought. I went to the bar and grill to see if they had anything. NADA. Truly, nothing at all, just a bunch of greasy crap. Brandon's boss ordered a pizza for everyone, and a couple pitchers of beer. Well I hate beer, and anyways I told myself I am not having any alchohol until New Years. You would think I would be so ravenous I would not be able to resist the pizza, but oh my gosh it smelled so nasty and greasy. It smelled like skating rink pizza that has been sitting in a glass case all day. I finally ate my cheese stick, but other than that all i had was 3 peices sugarfree gum and 4 diet sodas. Not real healthy, i know, I don't do this on a regular basis! I promise to eat more today! I get stressed out in social situations when I don't know anybody. I was friendly to everybody, but on the inside, I just wanted to go home. I used to be so much more outgoing when I was a teenager, it's a little depressing. When I got home I ate a slice of double fiber whole wheat bread with a tablespoon of peanut butter and a half tablespoon of sugar free jam. It was good too! Then I conked out, I was exausted! I went to sleep worrying that I had slowed my metabolism down by eating so little, I have been hearing so much from other South Beachers gaining weight when they skip meals. This morning I woke up wondering whether I still weighed the same, or if maybe it had gone back up. I don't know why, but i have been wanting to weigh myself much more than I used to. I actually had a dream last night that I gained a bunch back! I'm a nutjob, I know. I need therapy, LOL. I am about to turn into a daily weigher, something I have always been against. Anyways, I weighed in, just hoping to be the same, and I am down another 1.2 pounds since yesterday! What is going on??! I thought weight loss was suppossed to slow down in phase two! I am not complaining however, for SURE! My new goal is 135 by New years. if I don't make it, no biggie, but it's fun to have short term goals. Well today i have another dang Christmas party, and Saturday, guess what? ANOTHER CHRISTMAS PARTY! Both with tons of homemade goodies, my weakness. They are both evening parties, so I must make sure I am well fed before i go. I'm on a roll now, i ain't gonna let temptations defeat me! Go BLUE TEAM! Don't be mad at me ya'll for eating too little, I swear I'll do better today!
