Diario de Leesah, 05 ene. 08

Almost two weeks ago I started the South Beach diet with my mom. I have to admit, it's been a bit of a roller coaster! First, let me start off by saying...I LOVE CARBS! Sticking to the first phase of the South Beach diet has been deficult only for that reason. Otherwise, I am very happy with the results! I have see a dramatic change in my weight loss.
As for exercise, I've stuck very closely to that challenge. I work out for an hour every day, five days a week. That has been a challenge all in itself, but it has also helped with my dramatic weight loss! My son is only three months old, and I have already lost over 45 pounds (including baby weight). woo hoo!
TIP FOR THE DAY: always work out with a partner! Not only is it much more fun, but it helps the time to go by faster, and its great encouragement! I work out with my mom! I owe all of my weight loss to her, she has stuck by me every second of my diet! Here I am now, feelin' like a LEAN MEAN FIGHTING MACHINE!! hehe ;)

Congrats on the new baby and the dramatic weight loss - exercise is key to success and you seem to have that factored in to your healthier lifestyle - continued success!
