So I got great news today, I received my labs from Jan 18th and I am not a type 1 diabetic. My pancreas isn't a quitter after all. Just a slacker, and producing some insulin. I am still on the same medications for now. My hbgl A1C is it 7.9 and my goal is to get under 7. I still am a type 2 diabetic so no cake for a celebration. I am also really happy with the results (feeling better and dropped weight) of the diet. So I am going to stay the course and see what the next Dr visit brings.
