Diario de loosinisfun, 20 ene. 08

day 232..another cold morning outside..8 above, with wind chill -3 ..gonna take another day off walking, today the wind is suppose to come outta the south and its gonna be warmer tomow when i start walking again...i did some leg raises yesterday when i was on the floor, i only did like 5 at a time, 2 differnt sets, but i can feel it in my tummy today, alittle sore, and thats great..il do some more of those today, and add more on to build up how many i do, its not one of my exercises that i normally do, but now i kno i can do it...i can remember when i first started loosing the weight and how hard it was to get down on the floor, and now, so much easier to get on the floor and get back up...its so awesome to get that feeling back...im gonna miss the weekly challange, but at the same time it will be nice not to feel pressure if i dont loose weight that week
lettin my team down, but it was alot of fun and ..im sure its motivated everyone thats been in the challenge that much more..on the up note, my pedometer finally got to walmart, and im gonna go this afternoon if not sooner, to get it..from what i been told, im still to heavy to set it right, but im still gonna use it the best i can, until i can get down 26 more pounds so that i can reset it and use it the right way...you have all made this challenge fun and motivating and i want to thank you all for that...have a great sunday...


ADDON: just went to walmart and got the pedometer i ordered..i love it and once i get rid of the 26 pounds so i can put in the right weight, il love it even more..its awesome..counts your steps, calories, distance..its pretty cool...gonna see just how many steps i do in a day...bet more then i expect..lol

Addon: first part of a day of wearing pedometer...started at 10am total steps 557 ..... miles .31

everyone needs a day of rest every once in a while so ... make the best of it! Your body will thank you!! Me, I ate too much last night so I am fixin' to go hit the old treadmill.. Maybe my body will "forgive" me and maybe the scale will go gentle on me, lol... Have a good day!

"letting your team down"?? *cough, cough* Uh-hmm... I DON'T THINK SO!! lol Phtt... look at your chart! You are going DOWN and did AWESOME!!! Isn't that funny how we feel more responsible to do "good for others", when it's for "our own bodies" and we owe ourselves that kind of love... dedication and determination because we are worth it! You've ROCKED IT all along!! I'm so very inspired and proud of you. I feel that you did the best that you knew how to do and that's all anyone can ask of any of us, at any time. :) GREAT JOB!! btw.. Hey, I really like the idea of a pedometer. It could really help in gauging our daily routines, and possibly point out any flaws in our daily exercise. Let me know how user-friendly your pedometer is! Some are too difficult to use or even figure out!

this is the one i just got ...here is the website for you to look at it.. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=3294308 i cant set it for the calories as im still 26 pounds over, but from what i see, its easy to set, easy to figure out..

at the end of my day i will put in my journal my steps, and my milage just to give you an idea of part of a day of wearing it..and how much i put on it in just a few hours..

got my pedometer today at 10am..walked inside the house most of the day, just between kitchen and computer room... started at 10am total 557 steps / .31 miles ...quit at 619pm cant wait to see what i do in a full day..lol

Cool! I had one at one time... walked over 2 miles in a day just at home and over 3 miles just in 8 hours at work! =D lol And they call me "sedentary" cuz I "didn't exercise" on top of that! lol Oh well, if they had my feet, they'd know why!

I sometimes wear my pedometer when I get to work, since I do alot of walking about the building to do different tasks. I usually average about 4 or 5 miles. But last Weds I was so busy that I walked friggin 7.43 miles which doesn't include the 3 mile run I did at lunch time.

i was really surprised i walkd that far just in the house..lol..cant wait to see what i put on it when i go walkin today and out an about..
