It’s crab feed day! Thank goodness there are no carbs in crab. I won’t have a tough time saying no to the bread or pasta but the wine is going to be a challenge. Stay strong little roots!
My weight is staying steady and I’m ok with that. I’m not in a big hurry to lose the last pound. I put in a long workout last night and plan on a long run this weekend. Again, struggling with fact that no matter how many butt and leg exercises I do, my upper body adds bulk. I have lost 6.5 inches off my waist and hip area but went up a ½ an inch in my chest and it’s not in the bra, that’s for darn sure! My pants are baggy and my shirts are tight through the shoulders. I look good in the mirror and feel good, so maybe that’s just my body type. It’s just frustrating to try on a small shirt that is baggy in the waist but stretched up into my armpits!
A little note about eliminating non-natural sugars from your diet and eating more vegetables: pretty much everyone I know is sick. My husband, my daughter, most of my friends, my co-workers, and they have been fighting it for over 2 weeks. Me? I feel amazing *knocks on wood*. I give credit to my diet and exercise regimen. I hope everyone has a wonderful, safe weekend.
