Well,i am 26 years old. I have 3 beautiful children, 2 girls and a boy. I got married in 2007. I wasnt always heavy, i was very athletic in school and could eat just about anything and not gain an ounce. I got pregnant with my first child at 17, i weighed 135, the day i had her i weighed 157, i left the hospital weighing 163, (hows that happen...lol) For the next 5 years i starved myself, and did various yo-yo diets, i always lost, but never stuck with it,so i gained...tons. I met my husband in jan 2007 and fortunate for me he liked big girls, i got pregnant in feb 2007 and weighed 221, my first trimester i lost 7 pounds,i was happy about this. The end of my pregnancy i weighed about 246. I lost all my weight while breast feeding, but soon as i stopped i gained 10 lbs and went to 231. i was content, my hubby liked me for me, and i didnt really care. Then i got pregnant again in march of 2008, i weighed 231 lbs and i just kept gaining. The day i had my son i weighed 267 lbs. This scared me and i wasnt willing to gain anymore weight. I could hardly walk to the bus stop without being out of breath, i had to take a break walking up 1 flight of steps, so i made the decision that this was it, soon as i felt up to it, (post partum wise) i was going to start a weight loss program and work out plan. So here i am, im so excited to change my lifestyle and for the first time, i actually see myself reaching my goal.

So 1 year later and im pretty much right back where i started except i cant blame it on baby weight anymore. i have begun the process to get WLS but it is going to be about a 6 month process so i am doing my part to proove to the doctors and myself that i am not just looking for an easy out. My goal is to get the surgery but if i loose enough in the next 6 months and dont need it..GREAT!!

Goals:

lose 50 lbs -
Get under 200 lbs -
lose 75 lbs -
Goal Weight 150 -

I CAN DO THIS.....I WILL DO THIS
