I have ALWAYS been pretty athletic, however...being a gymnast/cheerleader from a young age I tend to have very thick thigh muscles and a high muscle mass in general.

The problem with that is that ANY fat gain, no matter how small, makes me look like a linebacker. Also, weight training is just a no-no for me, as it is very easy for me to pack on muscle mass and look bulky. I went vegan about 6 months ago and I am LOVING it!!

I have also discovered a fantastic DVD workout largely based on ballet, pilates and yoga that really works to keep my muscles lean and toned and NOT bulky-looking. YAY!!!

Although it sounds contradictory, being that this is a projected goal-oriented site, I do NOT have a specific goal or time-frame in mind at all. I am choosing instead to work on acheiving overall excellent health and good fitness PERMANENTLY and on an ongoing basis.
