I have been really busy and have been working overtime therefore, I have not kept up with food journal and reporting. I am exercising (I had to do a bunch of yard work last week pulling weeds and weed eating). I, also, exercise at work if I have a double shift. My diet is going well although lacks consistency of times I eat. I fast a lot and generally am just eating 1 meal and a snack like nuts or cheese. I have been diligent about preparing new keto meals from Pinterest posts. My family is enjoying them and not feeling like we are missing out on certain foods. I made a pizza casserole and jalapeno popper chicken. Later this week we are having taco salad with all the fixin's except chips and beef stew without potatoes but many other vegetables. I am anxious to try my recipe's for Tuscan chicken and enchilada chicken. Food has been yummy. We tried to use sugar free cocoa nibs in our chocolate chip cookies (with almond flour). They were not good. I will have to spend the big bucks to try the sugar free chocolate chips and maybe the 85% dark chocolate chips. They are so expensive compared to regular chocolate chips it just "churns my butter" to buy them. But, I guess if we use them just like once every one or two weeks then it is affordable for a treat. I have not been going to the gym due to the necessary yard work this week. I still need to get consistent with that. I want to start riding my bike but am not sure the bike I have can hold my weight without the tires going flat. I have mountain bike tires but am not sure how much air pressure I can use in them.
I go on vacation in 3 weeks and hope to gain some consistency then for my exercise. Only down 1 pound this week (2 pounds last week) but it's better than gaining. I feel my body is having to adjust to the new fat burning lifestyle and I have to be sure to balance my fats so I don't overdo them.

Weight down by 7 pounds in first week due to water loss I'm sure. I didn't exercise on my two days off. Only one I hurt is me. I think I will tell my daughter to tell me it's for her. I do better doing for other's. I know that sounds bad but, for now it might work. I can't get excited about the gym. I'm not eating enough calories/meals. I need to shop; payday tomorrow. I still am ending up with too many carbs according to the food calculator. So, I
m afraid to eat more too. I end up eating nuts or drinking coffee with cream. I work a double shift tonight/16 hours. then the gym in a.m. I do better going from work even after a double shift.

I am doing well on my diet and exercise. I
m very motivated and my daughter is doing it with me so I have good support. I need to plan food better on work days. The exercise calculator seems overgenerous. I want to keep logging my food. I'm not eating enough calories but am a little afraid of what to eat. I need to shop on Payday. I am enjoying the fresh salad greens. Weigh-in tomorrow for week one.

Following the diet well except using flavored creamer (sweetened). I want tp change to green tea. I don't need cream with tea. I know I have to watch my additional fats. I'm also troubled by salad dressing oils not being made with olive oil.

O.k. bad for the holidays and gained weight. Now back on and back at the gym and keto diet. Good luck to me. I want 100 lbs gone this year. Eating salads this week with meat.
