I did it! I managed to go out for a high tea, not over indulge, and hopefully even though I had some carby food, I didn't go over my limit. I stuck to mainly safe drinks and I drank water to every alcohol sip I had (I've heard this is apparently the best way for your body to process alcohol.... don't know how true that is!).
and when I weighed myself at the end of the day I expected to weigh a good 2kg heavier (I'm one of those people that I seem to gain and drop that daily) but I was only 200g heavier than first thing this morning. that's huge!! will be amazing to get on the scales tomorrow, hopefully I still managed a small loss!!

Meanwhile this week will be my hardest week yet! No partner Gere to support me (he's away for work), no kids to keep me honest (gotta love teens with their bluntness) and prepping for an interstate road trip next weekend. tomorrow I need to clean my fridge of all the dead food and make a plan for meals for the rest of the week!! I hate meal prep!! I'm so bad at it!

Today was my first "bad day" as (not sure how many of you are from Australia) today is ANZAC Day and I am a Veteran. They had no even close to healthy food option and I had a few drinks. I went with as close to my dirt as possible. This weekend will be another bad day as I have a paid high tea and it was EXPENSIVE so I need to eat and drink as much as I can. Even though I was up at 4am I still managed to stick to my intermittent fasting schedule, even though everyone around me was eating my favourite foods. Anyone miss fruit toast!! OMG!! toasted fruit toast was my partners breakfast. I just gave him a kiss to get some flavour lol.
I have worked out that I can leave the room if people are eating food I want (last night SIL and BIL were having nachos so I played with their kids. win win!!)

keto seems to be working for now! I am 2kg down in 5 says since starting it. that is a loss of everything I gained back after stopping Saxenda. I am still 2kg from my 1st goal I set when I went on Saxenda and 8.1kg from my main goal. The hardest part is moving from "healthy" foods - like vegetables etc - to no carb options. it's been hard to change the mindset of "all vegetables are good for me, I just need to cut out bread and pasta" to realising how much I was eating in carbs in healthy foods. Finding suitable substitutes for what I usually eat and enjoy is hard, but I am managing.
This week is the real test of restraint! It is my kid week, and that means a week where I have to stick to this and make them food too. They aren't on the diet with me, but I have found receipes and meals I can make mostly for us, but they get the things I can't eat. last night I made them hot chips. One of my all time favs. I stuck to my guns and didn't even sneak 1. Not that 1 will ruin everything, but I know I will crave more if I do. the 800g loss since yesterday morning was my reward!
