Didn't weigh myself today, as I always do it after coffee but before food. Today I ate before I had a chance. Was awake, dressed and ready to leave the house 2 hours before normally wake up. Tired, and I ate way too much too soon. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that being tired loosens the brakes on indiscriminate eating.
But there's a good side to this site. Writing down what I ate, and noting the calories, lets me know that it may have been a binge, but I'm not over my calorie intake for the day. I can even have a microwave meal! Normally I would have just been unhappy that I binged and used the rest of the day to revisit foods I like but haven't been eating because they're unnecessary & fattening. Like pizza and Baskin Robbins Pralines and Cream. Would have been much more damage.

Up 1.5lbs, grrr... Likely has something to do with exercise, as body fat measuring function on the scale decreased, from 33% to 32.5. Speaking of exercise, could barely finish the half hour, even though it's a relatively nontaxing exercise, no incline setting used, etc. I'm really out of shape!

Have no idea why I'm down 3 lbs. Maybe it's the lower calories of the day before? Wasn't hungry. Didn't have the chance to exercise

WTF?? Even the html isn't working, the font remains the same size. 1500+ calories yesterday and I've gained 1.2 lbs! I'm beyond discouraged. It isn't leftover weight from the day before yesterday because I didn't eat that much then. I'm running out of clothes & damned if I'm going to buy fat clothes. I'll stop eating before then. I'm so disappointed that there are tears. I feel like I put most of my money into buying a car, and the car was a lemon. Or I paid for a package vacation, including airfare, got too sick to go, and it's all nonrefundable.

Going to go back to the prepackaged meals, like Smart Ones, Amy's, Lean Cuisine & Micheline's light line. I've spent years caregiving, shopping for, preparing meals and cleaning up afterwards. Maybe that's why although I'm good at it, I have no desire to cook. I don't mind the cooking but I'm tired of cleanup. Plus, I'd have to food shop nearly every other day in order to keep using fresh food, because you can't freeze salad. Hating to shop has nothing to do with past caregiving, I just never liked to shop. Nobody looks twice at men who don't like to shop, but society expects women to just do it. I also have a problem with portion control, and the prepackaged meals take care of that. But first I need to finish off the real food I bought in a moment of weekness: Kirkland smoked salmon, romaine lettuce and cherry tomatoes, plus have to do something with the celery that my brother bought, used half, and he's done with it. I can't stand food waste, it's sort of a sin when so many are hungry, so I'll have to slice it so thin that you could see through it. So once that's gone, it's happily back to the packages. I'm also back to the caregiving again, as a family member just had surgery, and I have to pick up the slack. I spent 17 years caregiving, had 10 months to get out of the practice and try to put myself first, and here I am, back to caregiving again!
