Standing at only 5'2 and being only 20 years old, this weight for me is personally unacceptable. Therefore, I need to do much better and make more strides towards becoming healthier overall. I hate the yo-yo dieting and starting over again but I'm making it my mission to rid myself of the insecurities by losing the weight the RIGHT way just like I have in the past. I have 3 months before school officially starts again and my junior year of college has to be my best one thus far, both physically, mentally, and of course academically.

Just had a refreshing glass of a quick made Watermelon and Strawberry smoothie. I truly do enjoy eating healthy, and making better lifestyle choices. It's all a matter of implementing them into my entire mindset then I can become healthier overall and eventually lose weight. I am taking it a day at a time and progressing towards my goal.

Dear FS Journal: Well today is a new day and I've decided to continue on my path to eating better and treating my body right. It seems to be so difficult to keep up with, even though I know that it is the best thing for my body especially at my age. Yesterday I began by eliminating sugar and starting off with a balanced breakfast of Oatmeal and a small bread roll. Today I kind of started off bad but that is not going to disappoint me. I will have a good day and good week regardless of any slip ups. I plan to work out for at least 45 mins today. Rather than sitting on the computer for more than 7+ hours. I will substitute those moments for squats, crunches and sit ups.

The picture to the left is after I had lost a good amount of weight and was actually confident enough to show off a little midriff. At that time I had actually went down to my lowest size ever which was an 11 compared to my highest which was once a size 17 in pants. Also, during this time I even started wearing medium shirts.

I am once again starting this journey on New Year's Day, yes it is cliche but hey we gotta start some place and someday so why not here and now? I've done it before and am sure I can do it again.
