March 7, 2021 You know you have been self indulgent when you have gotten into the habit of eating every two hours. I have really had a struggle staying on goal yesterday because I refused to snack. Still onr 147. Goal 142, then over next year down to 133.

February 18, Thursday. Keeping to strict journaling every bite, not eating until blood sugar is reduced, avoiding all sweets and quickly assimilated starches, I lost 4 lbs since Wednesday. It helped that I had a long sleep, 8.5 hours, last night. I always lose more when I sleep more. Simple mechanics--more is lost through elimination when one sleeps longer.

Wow, off my diet yesterday, Probably 2000 calories including a 300 calorie chocolate croissant. But today sanity returns. Old tried and trues. Don't eat until blood sugar is 110 or less. Keep calories to high protein and lean green. Nothing tastes good enough to make it worthwhile to return to semi-crippled state of overweight. am blood sugar 154, after breakfast 215, after lunch tomato and tuna fish, 144-- an improvement. Water pack abacore or tuna seems to really vacuum up extra blood sugar. Should be lower yet by 4:30.

January 5,2021, Friday, weight down one lb to 147. Goal for month is 144. I was 146 for several days and I don't think I have actually gained but a combination of grain products and salt have bounced meup 4 lbs. Keeping on keeping on, and no chocolate, no nuts, no pastry nibbles, I hope to get down. blood sugar was 137 this morning I ate 8 oz of rich steak (tenderloin)as well as two 12 gram servings of scone yesterday. Now I am down to petite sirloin, probably half the fat content. But high protein low car curbs appetite, and possibly I can keep down enough to see my goal weight.
