I need to stop weighing myself everyday. But it's a hard habit to break. I was up .4 today, which is nothing but still frustrating. Even though I know it's water weight because I have been sticking to this faithfully. I had a bit of a sweet tooth last night which was the first time since I started a week ago. I chew Wrigleys Extra Classic Bubble gum and this takes care of it. Well my first week is over and I lost 6.4 lbs so I am very pleased with that and I feel great! Feeling better is just as important to me as loosing the weight because I don't have that bloated feeling that I always have when I eat carbs.

Well the weekend is almost over:( I did well with my eating. I was very pleased. We went to a festival yesterday and I took some snacks with me in my purse so I wouldn't be tempted with the fries and all the good smelling foods that were there. Today I actually felt thin. But my weight was the same as it's been for the last 4 days. But thats ok. At least its staying the same and not going up. It's only been 5 days so far. But it is nice not to have that fat bloated feeling like I have most of the time. My body feels so much better without carbs!

Well I made it through the wedding last night. I ate reasonably well except the food they served was Chicken Parmesan. I tried to take most of the breading off but it was a little difficult. I gave my potatoes to my husband and I passed on the desert! It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. They had appetizers so I ate cheese and veggies with ranch dip. I felt pretty satisfied and wasn't hungry later in the night. I did have a glass of white wine. I figured that was the lowest of the carbs of anything that I like. I tried to drink a lot of water too. I was pleased with how I handled things. I stayed the same in my weight this morning so I was very happy about that. Well today is a new day.

Starting day 4. I'm going to a wedding tonight. Hope my willpower is strong. Then comes the weekend. It's so much easier for me to control my eating during the week when I'm working. I can only eat what I take with me! I am determined to do this. I feel better already, even after 3 days. I just have to keep reminding myself of that when I want to eat "junk".

Was down 0.6 lbs this morning. I was happy with that for only being day 3. The problem today is I feel a little nauseated. I remember this happening before when I was on Atkins in the past. But I don't know why it happens. Any body have and ideas why or does this happen to anyone else? I am going to keep up on my water today. That seems to be my biggest challenge but I feel thirsty today so it may be easier. Tomorrow I have a wedding to go to and I'm worried about that. Not so much the eating part, unless it's not a buffet style dinner. I feel I have more control if I'm picking my food rather than it being put on my plate for me. Because if it's there I will probably eat it. I'm worried about alcohol. I'm not a big drinker but it is a wedding. I know no alcohol on induction but is there anything that we can have that isn't too high in sugar? Thanks for any input.
