Once I finish my to do list, which includes packing 3 bags for me, my daughter, the dog, and reviewing my lesson plans for work Tuesday, and making sure all of hubby’s medical notebooks, records, calendar, and meds aren’t forgotten in the morning before we leave for a big dr’s appointment…and I put off my own homework for another day…I’m counting my calories and then totally stress eating. Hopefully I have a big window left to do that. I don’t even care tonight.
My mother in law, who is watching our 60lb dog and 2 yr old daughter for us overnight during the out of town appointment tomorrow, had the audacity to text me and tell me to, by the way, bring the dog’s hairbrush if I have one. I didn’t even remember I needed to pack a bag for the dog, too, until my husband said something in passing tonight.
It amazes me that after 8 yrs of marriage and after all the effort I’ve made to keep a great relationship with her, she still makes me feel like she doesn’t respect me. Even after glimpse of all I’m doing to care for her youngest son, who is dying of a terminal illness. Forgive my venting, but if you were in my shoes, you’d enjoy a tub of Ben n Jerry’s tonight, right? If only I had one! Haha .

Recommendations for high protein snacks that actually taste good?
I eat dried chickpeas, Greek yogurt, and premier protein shakes. I don’t mind the varieties of protein ice creams out there.
What else do you all eat that will be filling and low cal at the same time?

Not a bad substitute for a mint choc chip ice cream fix. And 10g protein. I still miss the ice cream tonight! 🤪😩😁

Trail of the day with my other little trooper. She’s a good girl. 🥰 took over an hour-long walk, that should do it!

Today I met my goal. I lost the baby weight!!!!!! Been trying for 1.5 years and still breastfeeding, which made it harder! I can’t believe it!!!!!! *happy dance* 🕺🏻 💃🏼 🥳❤️🔥
Time to set a new goal!
