Annoyed that Nike Run+ app for Android is so glitchy. I wish I could better track my runs. I know that my pace is really improving by simple math. It's not hard for me now to stay below 10:00 over distance, actually closer to a 9:00, breakaway intervals below 8:00 and 7:00. Being lighter, eating protein, proper pre-run fuel, and hydrating sufficiently really made a difference for me. 40-something miles per week and I feel good. Not fatigued, no joint pain.

I am retiring from FS. I love y'all, but this is no longer useful. I will probably still use the scanner on my phone to figure some things out, so you'll still see some of what I eat, but I'm not doing the message boards anymore. I so appreciate this community and some of you are so inspiring, it's just that my habits already are what they are. I eat a certain way, run a certain number of miles per week, and that's a lifelong habit. You can get too stuck in before and after thinking. At least, I can. Life is happening all the time. Wishing everyone health and happiness. Be good to yourselves. :) <3

Corn now seems to be a problem too. I just read a bit and learned that a protein in it can affect the systems of some G-intolerant. Argh. For any kind of starchy carb (apart from potatoes), this leaves me with only quinoa, rice, and oats. I don't much like quinoa, and am bored of it, and can tolerate rice and oatmeal, but they don't really fuel me. Potatoes and sweet potatoes really fuel me. Good to know that now but I am just so limited! Annoyed. I love all things corn: tortillas, tortilla chips, polenta, an awesome F-free pasta I just found (Barilla). I like fruits, vegetables, and nuts the most, but this is a hassle. Okay, complaining over.

SHOUT OUT TO MY FS HOMIES!
That's all. No story. Just a hey to everyone who lives in my world of daily planning. It's a bright and sunny Saturday in Los Angeles and everyone's out and eating whatever. I drove home from the grocery store and got my scan on as usual. We live in our own world. I'm adjusted and I don't mind it anymore - washing all the measuring cups and spoons, using a food scale - but it does really, really set me apart. To everyone else who is staying focused to honor their bodies and their long-term health, HAVE A LOVELY WEEKEND. :) :) :)
