ok...think i might have blown it a bit today....made lots of goodies for friends that came over and stayed away from the chocolate fountain and the cheesecake squares as well has the dutch crunch bread and rice, but had fresh blackberries and strawberries and the juiciest watermelon I have ever seen...didn't pig out but had some of each! Thank goodness my son cut the watermelon in small pieces.... :)...guess I will see tomorrow...but I ate the bbq chicken with just a smidgen of the mango chutney, fresh salad with some balsamic dressing, celery sticks with ranch dressing and those black berries...yumm... and strawberries, yumm... and then the watermelon. I wonder if it is because I have had so little if any sugar in over a month and 10 days if it all was soooooo good? Ok, no problem. Tomorrow the fruit should be gone, or at least put away and I will once again be strong! But I didn't go over the 20 net carb mark so shouldn't be to bad.

scales not moving but I am sticking too it! I went to the doctor yesterday and got a smiley face on my report plus a great written on top! Funny, but that made me feel good. I was worried that the doctor was going to ride me for my weight but he was so pleased with the drops in all my counts that he said he wasn't worried about the weight! I don't think it had to do with the starting of atkins...i started on the 20th of June and my blood tests were done on the 22...who knows, but my blood pressure was good and i asked the doc if it was because of the medicine and he said no the medicine brought it down from the dangerous rate (it was HIGH) but he feels what ever I am doing has help lots.

Had a bar for breakfast and porkchops and celery with cream cheese for lunch and tried the quick flax muffin made in the coffee cup for dinner and used butter to spread on it...it was good! also had a diet soda and some pork rinds for a snack...I hope I am eating enough...I am basically staying satisfied...and been able to fight off temptations (like chocolate cream puffs that my boss sent home with me for the family and baked bread...(that's when the pork rinds and diet coke came in handy! So 4 may days and that is 2 weeks of induction...I have to decide if I will stay there or go on to phase 2.....i am leaning on staying on the induction...
