Boy have I sucked at following any healthy diet this summer. With my 32nd Birthday fast approaching (20 days away) I have to get refocused. So, this is me refocusing on my health.
It's been a busy summer, and this week will be again very busy because my sister and her family are out of town and I am watching their store for them, school is starting soon and I've got a ton of school shopping to do with my son. It's crazy, he's starts middle school this year! He's growing way too fast.
Well, I hope you are all well, I'm glad to be back. I have missed you all an all the FS has to offer.
7 Things I'm Grateful for: 1. Time - Since I was laid off, I've had so much time to do things. I've read a ton of books, I've worked on projects both work and around the house and now I have the time to help my sister. 2. Fresh Whole wheat bread - Simply delicious. 3. Baby Nephew - He's curled up asleep next to me right now, 3 weeks old and adorable! 4. Books - I have been reading like a mad man this summer and I'm LOVING it! Ted Dekker, you have me biting my nails. 5. Chocolate - July is chocolate month in our home as we experiment with savory chocolate recipes to get ready for La Fete au Chocolat, a pot luck dinner where everyone brings a savory chocolate dish to share. It's so much fun. 6. Air Conditioning - Nearly 100 degree weather for the past month, I'm so thankful for the cool air inside. 7. Jesus - He was torn and broken so I could be whole, He bled so I could be happy, and He died so I could be free!
