Fasting blood sugar: 138; Weight: 175.4 when I got up this morning, 174.7 after 1 1/2 hours garden weeding before I ate breakfast. My sweet hubby brought me a glass of iced tea in the middle of my gardening stint.I am pleased that my glucose is going down with intermittent fasting. I'm not looking to cure diabetes after having it for more than 20 years. I'm looking to keep the A1c low so I don't have to add more meds to live safely with it. And I wouldn't mind getting to drop one of the meds I now take! Keto works well, but intermittent fasting speeds the loss up so I don't get discouraged.
Update: I was feeling dizzy this afternoon so I checked my glucose. It was down to 117, the lowest I have been in months. So I broke my fast to eat cheese and almonds before we walked our 1.2 miles.
