I was doing pretty good, but then we had a death in the family (along with other chaos)... somehow I had gotten off track and stopped focusing on my goals.... but I feel I'm ready to truly start working on things again. What do you guys do when you've lost your way and how do you keep yourself focused, despite life's ups and downs?

When I had a lose, it’s taken years for me to get back on track. Don’t be a fool like me and wait that long, it’s not going to fix itself. Just recently, I’ve decided enough is enough. Now it tell myself, just do it!

You should be good as long as your trying, and don't stop. If you do stop, forgive yourself and forget those days and keep going. That goes for exercise too! Be well!

Just buckle down again and give yourself non-food rewards as you accomplish each short term goal.

I'm sorry for your loss too. It helps to continue logging your food even when you go off track. There is also alot of support here. Hang in there. Taking steps to do something good for yourself will help you process your grief in a healthy way, but be easy on yourself and acknowledge your grief rather than eating your feelings.
