Your long term trend has been good. Only the last few days have been a problem. Could be water gain. Keep a positive outlook. I'm sure you will start to see good results soon.

Life, and weight reduction, is a series of cha-cha movements, a little up, and little back, and always looking forward to success. You, overall, are doing well. Keep up the good work!

Putting your body into starvation mode (under 1000 calories a day) will cause your body to hold onto everything it has just to survive. It will also drastically slow down your metabolism which could be permanent. I spent years crash dieting, starving myself, taking diet pills etc and it didn’t do me any favors. Eat the calories your body actually needs, keep your macros in check, and get your deficit by working out.

I suggest increasing your intake for a day or two. You're in starvation mode. After a day or two you should be able to decrease your intake again. I'm no doctor, don't try this at home, but it worked for me. Good luck! Happy New Year!

Protein doesn't make you gain weight, calories in vs calories out, also try buying a gram scale to accurately measure your food, then you can loose weight HARDER THAN LAST TIME!!!👌💪 Good luck I wish you the best

Don't know what your intake is but try Fat: 20-35%; Carbs: 25-45%; Protein: 35-50% daily. That's a formula for weight loss.

Read about weight loss plateau, maybe that’s the reason why you’re gaining weight. I was in the same situation when I used to consume about 800-900 calories for a week. I continued eating less, in addition, doing cardio every day my weight remained the same. So, I suspected it was that effect.

What Lonnie said!! (1) Your metabolism will slow down if you're not eating enough - survival instinct. (2) Plus I recommended weighing everyday but recording the week's average to avoid emotional stress of daily fluctuations - waste management, etc.... ie look at the forest not the trees. (3) Slow & steady weight loss is more sustainable in the long run - think WoE. Wishing you a successful journey!

Are you using a food scale?

All calories are not created equal. There is a difference in calories from processed foods, salty foods, candy etc as apposed to healthier carbs and proteins and healthier fats.

According to your logs, you've lost 12 pounds in two weeks. Sounds like a very fast weight loss. Without knowing more, it's hard to say, but it seems highly unlikely that someone eating 900 calories a day daily would not lose weight. How much have you gained and since when? It might not really be a gain, but a fluctuation, which is common after a sudden big drop (like 12 pounds in two weeks...), of which a lot is probably not fat but water and lean body mass.

A difference in micronutrients and feeling full but we're talking fat loss. 900 calories can be from nothing but Twinkies and a person would waste away. And no, there is no starvation mode. Slight and normal metabolic adaptations? Yes.

900 calories of anything (processed, whole, whatever, the thermic effect of food is often overstated and is not going to make a huge difference at such low calories) regularly is going to cause weight loss in anyone. There is also no such thing as starvation mode. You can't put on fat in a caloric deficit - goes against CICO. May this myth die. https://youtu.be/pRvEjaAYmr4

Try intermittant fasting. Chronic calorie restriction will lower your metabolism

Are gaining a very small amount?. It could be nothing, maybe your bloated from being swore. Intake of liquid was different, because your gaining if is a small amount does not have to be weight in fat I think your good.
