One pound. That doesn't sound like it adds up to the amount of work I put into this week, and believe me I worked my ass off. Instead, I shall say this week I completely obliterated 16oz of fat. Goodbye 16oz!
This is probably the result of that one donut I ate and didn't regret. It's the diet karma trying to teach me a lesson. "Uh oh, we've got a comfortable donut eater over here, lets slow the metabolism stat" Guess what, still don't regret it! Of course I'm kidding; I know it wasn't the donut.
Some times that's just the way it goes, and that's something I have had to learn to accept. Especially after my big number last week. If nothing else it reinforces to my disbelieving mind that I actually did lose that much fat. Eleven more pounds to go before thanksgiving, and I will be a happy girl.
Thank god its Friday!! Hallelujah, I'm exhausted! lol No plans for the weekend as of yet, and I'd rather like to keep it that way.
Stay optimistic, my friends!

One pound in a week is very respectable! Good job! With weight loss, slow and steady is the way to go - it will be a more sustainable loss.
Find something that weighs a pound - like a couple of apples. That's how much you lost! Sometimes it looks like more than it feels like ;-)
Keep up the good work.

One day at a time, one pound at a time!! Take every pound as it comes and goes!! You are doing a great job!! Just keep thinking, that a one pound loss makes the ultimate goal that much closer, and makes the results more lasting, and easier to maintain!! I hope to have 10 more pounds off by Thanksgiving, so I'm right here with you!!

I'd love a pound.... As I have been told several times - apparently, as you build muscle it tears the tissues a bit and then they retain water. So -I know that you increased the weights on your workout.... == I think we have the answer :)!!!!
