I get so excited when the scale nears 220 like it did earlier this week. I haven't eaten any sugar, bread, starchy vegetables--just protein, fat and a little low carb vegetables and yesterday a serving of crasins in my tuna salad. This is a fight and I am going to continue to battle with my desires to eat things I know are addictive triggers for me. Even if the scale isn't showing what I want, I feel free and that is so much more important than scale numbers. I have heard that a day of just a steak can take off recent gain. I have a steak so plan to eat it later on today. Tomorrow is my official weekly weigh-in.
