So I'm within a few pounds of the 15% I'm required to lose for the weight loss portion of the study...I can now re-incorporate actual food into my diet...For now, I'm gonna stay on shakes for at least the next week...March 19th is my mom's birthday...and we're going to dinner, so I'll have a salad then :) And, after that, I'm gonna start doing 3 shakes a day, then eat an actual dinner :)
Today, I had my dr and nutritionist apt at 7:45am, 45 min from my house...so I got up at 5:30am, walked on the treadmill for 60 minutes...then took a shower and headed to the apt :) All this after I curled for 4 hours last night and didn't get to bed 'til after 11pm :P
Today was our chili cook-off at work...I didn't make an entry this year 'cause I didn't want the temptation of having a pot of chili here, not to mention that I'd have to taste it to make sure it was good and that would have been the night before my dr/nutritionist apt...but since my nutritionist gave me the go ahead to eat real food, I did sample the chilies :) After I left work, I went to get tires on my car...It was gonna take an hour, so, out of guilt from eating chili for lunch, I decided to go for a walk during that time...I did a 1.9 mile loop in 30 minutes...so I just kept going and did it again...walked 3.8 miles in about 57 minutes while I got tires on my car...and it really showed me just how far off my treadmill is...I wasn't walking nearly as fast as I walk on the treadmill, but I walked 3.8 mph, when my treadmill says I'm walking 3.0 mph, which I knew was wrong...I thought I was actually walking about 3.6-3.7 mph, but I must be walking about 4.2 mph :)
