I've lost 23kg since giving birth last year without ever having done a single exercise or stepping into the gym lol... it hasn't been an easy journey with working full time, being a first time mum and studying towards another post graduate qualification but here we are, there were ups and downs and I'm sure 2022 will also have this roller-coaster cycle, nevertheless I'm proud of myself for what I have achieved this year. It's been difficult eating healthy especially with my PCOS and endometriosis but the main thing is I haven't given up, I doubt I'll lose any more weight this year but my goal is to lose the last 7kg next year. Here's to making healthy choices for a happier life in 2022 💛

Tremendous achievements❣️ I too have PCOS, not easy to lose weight with this autoimmune disease. Hormones all over the place and easily can fall into depression. You are an inspiration 👏🏼

@Fatgirlslim1982 definitely agree, the insulin resistance and PCOS cravings are a real pain 😅

Girls.. try Hormone Assist Capsules from Future Health - it changed my life by sorting out my hormones and now I see it's bringing down my weight!

Amazing achievement. Super well done! How did you get the weight off?

@RoxzanF on most days intermittent fasting with not much dietary restrictions (20:4 was my favorite as I would eat anything I want for my meal), on good days low carb or omad, and on great days gluten free, dairy free. I also only ate vegetables, chicken breast or fish (no red meats). I tried to reduce my sugar as much as possible as I have insulin resistance. Daily vitamins I think also helped a lot, e.g. Vitamin D3+K2, Vitamin B Complex, Magnesium, Vitamin C and Biotin, they helped with energy during the day and getting enough sleep at night. During winter I drank a lot of tea, during summer a lot of water. I had some good weeks, and some bad months, at the end of the day I released for me it is a marathon and not a sprint, so I just tried to make healthy choices at least 75% of the time, and the other 25% was reserved for when life happens and you just need that slice of cheesecake to get through the day lol

Oh wow. Congratulations dear.. Gave birth in April this year.. Started from 73kg.. Currently at 62kg and my goal weight is 54kg😁we are like twins.. Indeed it's not easy trying to lose weight with a new born.. Mine had the worse colic😪, it was tough but we almost there. Am just so happy seeing someone on the same journey with similar circumstances 🤗.. Here is to pushing forward slowly 🍾🥂..

@watipatsa wow that is incredible! Yes I know the struggle lol, mine has GERD and had repeated surgeries and was in hospital for 2 months so 2020/2021 has been so hectic. I know deep down to get to that 55/54kg mark is going to be tough but I think I'm probably going to have to reset go back to basics and start exercising lol. Congratulations to you, you have done so well on your journey!

Well done, this post is truly inspirational. Also have PCOS and need to lose 15kgs whilst trying to get pregnant! Meds are so expensive as well. I pray this will be me someday.🙌
