Diario de whiskeybabe, 06 ene. 22

Been a while, I gave upon losing weight, went through a struggle these last 4 years due to a injury! Finally had surgery and realizing that my body can’t bare my weight the way I need it to right now for my recovery. My body is now over worked and I am very sore! So I’m back on tracking what I eat through my food diary and hopefully I’ll be inspired to start eating properly again! I was down to 224lb from 240lb but I’m right back up to 235lb.. I wanna lose at least 60lb and I’ll be happy!

I’m 24 and 6’4” so that’s also to take into consideration! With height comes weight! I am very body positive I am doing this not for looks but for the good of my own health as well as so I can heal a bit faster and in less pain! Any suggestions and support will be greatly appreciated, and I’m open to answering any questions! :)

You made a start. One day at a time. Accountability is key for most so recording every morsel helps. I find recording before I eat it really helps me with portion control.

I’ve come to realize that distortion is a thing and being mistaken about how much you eat, how slow your progress is and whether or not you’re doing well can be challenging. Logging food and weight on a regular basis allows you to look back and see factual information, not what your mind might be telling you. Also, I aim for 10 lbs loss so it’s within reach and I can celebrate before resetting my goal. Plus you never know, maybe you will find yourself comfortable at a weight you hadn’t imagined.
