I decided to order the 45-pound adjustable dumbbell set. It's gotten to the point where the fixed weight hexagonals aren't affordable. I paid $30 for the last one I got, a single 15-pounder. I read that the best price on weights is a dollar a pound so I paid double. For $20 more, I could have gotten the adjustable set. Also, Amazon stays out of stock on the 12 and 20 pound sizes of the Reeboks. I have two ten pounders and 12 pounds is going to be the next step up. When that happens, I want to be ready. The dumbbells are shipping by two-day Priority Mail so they should arrive soon. I'm not looking forward to lugging them upstairs. I will have to break them out of the box and carry them piece by piece.
It's 86 today and we're headed for a week of 90+ temperatures so that will be a test of my determination. The whole room air circulating fan does help. Today is the first day of the second week of my three month whole body conditioning plan with dumbbells.
