Some days I find it difficult to push myself and drive myself that much more. It's difficult to stray away from my old habits. I still go to some stores and see foods that I use to eat and and I know that I'm not supposed to be eating them because my diabetes. But I still want them bad. I try not to give in to temptations. So far my only guilty pleasure is a piece of chocolate once in a while. Everything else I've watched carefully and precisely.


If anyone can share some of their favorite recipes they're favorite healthy recipes for pizza or seafood meals it would be appreciated.

My goal now is to start working on building my self esteem, also building my body back to what I wanted to be.

finding delicious meals is a problem have as well as a diabetic but what I have found helpful is actually reading and eating the single serving size portion on the food I'm not supposed to have. You would be surprised at how much you can eat to satisfy that sweet craving while not going over 100 calories. I actually count out the number of pretzels the label says and have that sometimes I won't even eat all of that serving till days after. What messes us up is denying the craving altogether and in my case just gets stronger so I rather feed the craving a little than to enter total fail mood.
