I know that voice really well. IVE named her the fat kid. I tell my trainer sometimes that the fat kid (meaning me) is trying to hold me down!!! And then i say, but I’ve got this. You have got this!!!! You are stronger than the voice trying to hold you down i promise😁

Go to a mirror and look directly into your own eyes and out loud say it -- "Go away ! You are not helping me ! How can I get ahead if you keep holding me back ! I'm done with you !" -- From now on when those thoughts come back, immediately think of a happy thing you would like to do, that would help you on your weight loss goal. Excuse of "I cant" at work, well no one stops you from walking to the bathroom "the long way" once or twice.
