I've also lost an inch and a half from my waist. I had to renew a prescription for some rather powerful medication I'm taking at the moment and had a telephone chat with my doctor. She pointed out that one of the side effects of the tablets is weight gain. So perhaps it explains some, not all, of the extra pounds.
Did have a little walk down the drive and along the road for a couple of hundred yards and back, in my ordinary shoes - although I couldn't fasten the right one, hanging onto hubby. It was still a bit icy. My foot is now like a balloon but I really enjoyed it!
