Calipers say 19% body fat today. That's down 1% since I began. That works for me.

I just published my new book Barre Chord Therapy and Troubleshooting on Smashwords. There's a free 20% download if anyone is interested in my writing style. It should show up in Barnes and Noble and others within a few weeks. It's the first time I've published only in electronic format. My other books are available on my NorthernMusician website.

Thanks goes out to ClassicRocker for assisting with some of the editing.

Hm, I haven't picked up the calipers in a long time. I should have measured my % before I started this cut, but I didn't. Maybe I will do that tomorrow at weigh-in.

It's a good idea. though seemingly slower, I think it gives a better idea.

Good for you. I spent a little time on your site a while back; just wanted you to know that I would never have known there was any such thing as a tenor guitar if it hadn't been for your site.

Cool, thanks DK. They came into their hayday when suddenly guitars became amplified. Tenor banjo players were the market. Up until amplification, banjos could cut through all the clutter without amplification. That's why the banjo, that had been a mainstay in North American music for years, suddenly began to lose some ground to guitar. A lot of people still love them because the sound doesn't have the twang of the banjo, but they still have the wide 5ths tuning so prevalent in 'traditional' instruments that give entirely different chord voicings.
