We celebrated our birthdays and our anniversary in style! Maggie was John’s ER nurse, and it was almost a year to the date she helped keep comfortable in his level 10 pain and she helped keep me sane through it all! We ate steak and the German Chocolate cake I baked was to die for. Copious amounts of wine and a bottle of champagne. The bump up in weight was worth every ounce!
