Well that’s not great and it’s also not the worst since I’ve been away for a week for work with no exercise and eating to eat. Don’t know why when something doesn’t taste good I just can’t throw it away. I still eat it all if it’s edible. I can’t seem to get the mind set of not wasting good. I watch people throw more than half their meals away etc… and not take it home and it confuses me.
Other thing I would have probably been better had if I had a refrigerator in my hotel room to store leftovers. So instead I ate all instead of half. Hopefully I can get on track this week and lose the gain quickly.

If eating out is a big part of how you eat maybe go for smaller portions? Or retrain yourself. I have learned a lot about myself and food over the years and it sure has a lot of power over me. I have allowed it to and have to fight it.

If you are a child of the 60’s like myself a lot of us were taught to clean our plates, starving children in Africa (in my family that was the narrative). So i also struggle with that but one thing that seems to help is reminding myself that whether the food goes thru my body or straight into the garbage can it is all going into a waste receptacle whether the commode or the garbage can. Think of that when you dont like what you are eating or are full but mindlessly taking another bite. Best wishes the mental component of healthy eating can be the toughest one to retrain i think
