Creeping closer to my first short term goal. Hooray. Just broke yesterday's fast. Trying to stretch to approximate 42 hour fast (500 cal max) and it seems to work well for me. Om nom nom nom.

24! 24! not 42! Jeepers! lol. To be honest, such frequent weigh-ins will mislead u. Your window of progress should be a minimum of 1 week(7 days) so that you can have comparable data. When you weigh-in every day or two then you only comparing weight of today to weight of yesterday and that will give you false overall results. You usually put on weight after a fast day which is why it must be recorded and compared week to week or you will drive yourself nuts with day to day weigh-in and think something is wrong when weight goes up.

Lol. No Big Boy. My last fast was for 42 hours or rather consumed less than 500 cals in a 42 hour window. I know. I'm terrible at just weighing in once a week, but as long as the trend is downward, I'm happy.

Ahhhhh silly me! I just realized that I've never counted it like that! lol! So if I ate my last meal by 8pm on Thursday night then 8pm on Friday(fast day) is 24 hours of 600 Calories + I have to add the hours up to my next meal on Saturday at midday so that another + 16 hours which makes the entire total hours as 40 hours of fasting. I've never counted the hours like that because its become a norm for me to be fasting in my mornings on all my days due to intermittent fasting. You are so on the right track!!!!

Exactly. Am doing what you suggested and doing an everyday overnight to midday, whether after a fast or non-fast days, that means we fast 40-42 hours, there about. I think it's one of the suggestions the Fast Diet book, to as an alternative push the hours on a bit if one can during a fast. Seems a lot huh!
