I weigh everyday, even though there are many who advocate not doing so. I am savvy enough to realize that weight fluctuates a pound or even two on a daily basis. However, when I chart my weight loss, I can see that, even with the oscillations, the trend will be in a downward direction over time. Today I'm at 239; I've been fluctuating between 238 and 241 for over a week now. When I see 237, I'll know I made a breakthrough.
