I have a couple of sheep walking around in the back yard; they have a stay of execution until spring thaw. It's too darn cold for turning large(ish) animals into meat. This time I am definitely going to make some bone-broth; I'm getting closer and closer to nose-to-tail usage. It helps that we make home-made haggis. 

I am doing mine starting tonight! 

I need to buy a kilt. 

Awful cold there for a kilt...... 

Nose to tail usage... fantastic. Can't even approach that from my current lifestyle, but I'd love to be closer to it. Sadly, no fast today. Home is sold and I've gotta' pack up and get out. Need my calories to keep moving. Happy day all!

My brother has one. He had to order it from Ireland. 

They have kilts in Ireland? Hmm. Soon. It was an evening of carb excesses. It will fall soon enough.

Here I thought it was just us (Scots). Go figure. I'm quite proud that the first and second regiments from Scotland (the Black Guard), who wore their kilts to war were dubbed by the German's as 'The Ladies from Hell'. They were well respected by the enemy.
