I really wanted to be down to 180 today but I guess there are other plans for me. A win is a win but half a pound every 10 days is really frustrating.

Hey biddy, don't stress! Half a pound in 10 days is cool, My loss over the last year has been a kilo a month on average, which is less than that. The steady slow is better as it gives you chance properly to establish a REAL change where your food choices are automatic rather than crash diet focused. AND it gives your skin chance to keep up. Hang on in there and enjoy the process rather than battling against yourself. Do it right and once you are perfect you won't ever go fat again, especially if you remember how hard it was to get there - how great is that??!!

We all want action, don't we? Weight loss is truly a test of patience and perseverance. The scale IS going in the right direction - and that is good news!

Thats a loss. and looking at your chart, a steady loss. Be happy with that. Bet it didn't go on quickly.

I agree with JockoT--your chart looks great. Keep heading in the right direction and eventually you will get where you want to be. I know it can be extremely frustrating when things go slowly, but take a deep breath and renew your dedication to a healthy you.

Slower and steady weight loss can be frustrating but is a good way to do it. You're doing great.

It sure beats gaining 1/2 pound or more a week, which I can do very easily!!! You are still working on your goal!!

Hey Florida, totally agree with those above...be encouraged by the slow and steady, every month going down is a month in the right direction!! Most of us have seen a stuck scale (myself for almost a month once) when eating right and working out, while frustrating, what you do during this time is what counts most. Persevere and you will see a difference over the long run!

Me too but I keep self sabotaging. 178 is my goal by July 31 but then it was my goal last year too and didn't make it, reset and starting again..same goal, same day, different year.

I always found, during a long cut, that it came in spurts. Relax. Trust the numbers. Down is down, and down will waiver over time as to how often you see it. Lots of things get in the way of a consistent scale reading... which has yet to be invented.
