Damage Report: Up 5 lbs. This is a wake up call!


Now I could list all the stuff that has been going on, but the bottom line is that it doesn't matter. There is no excuse for stress eating. My diet should be a a way of life - on good days, busy days and stressful days.

One thing going for me today is that it should be a slow day at work so I am getting my walk in this noon.
75,3 kg Disminuído hasta ahora: 9,1 kg.    Aún para ir: 15,4 kg.    Dieta seguida: Bien.

Buffy, we all have times that we will stress eat..some eat more and some eat less..I am like you I will eat more...but hey you caught it before you gained it all back..and thats a good sign..YOU CAN DO THIS!!!..I have confidence in you..Hope you enjoy your walk...now smile for me..thats its..love that smile girl friend...{{{HUGS}}}..:O)

Don't beat yourself up for being human. Try to take out time for you, even if it's just ten minutes at a time, just to relax and breathe. I hope today is calmer and you can get that walk.

Ouch. Just remember that any one meal, day, or week really makes no difference. Weight management (and loss) is about the total picture by month, quarter, or year. Sometimes you may pig out but 7 bad days surrounded by 349 good days will still lead you to your goals!

February has been a tough month for many of us, don't you think Buffy? And we had such hopes for it. I'm with Bren, and Sierra. Actually I'm with everyone here. This is for you. Take time for yourself and don't beat yourself up. YOU CAN DO THIS!

Buffy, believe me, I understand exactly what you are saying...and while in our minds we know this, our psyche's seem to have a mind of their own, and they are convinced that those foods WILL make it all better. lol I have added mashed cauliflower to my diet, and last night made pork chops for dinner. When they were done, I added some heavy whipping cream, salt, and pepper to the drippings and made gravy. OH MY GOSH...comfort food to the nth degree and all "legal". It did make me feel better! lol Have a great day, my sweet friend...you'll get back on track in no time. Hugs!

Aw, Buffy, I know how bad you feel, believe me!!! But, as Bren wrote to me recently, we WILL get our mojo back! Small steps, one at a time, will lead you right back onto the path. I just LOVE what Fish wrote about keeping this all in perspective. You are still TWENTY pounds down!! Know how many people would love to say that? Lots and lots.....and you've done it! Don't beat yourself up, just move on forward with what you need to do. You ARE a success already!

Stef - Thanks for understanding. Your dinner sounds so yummy - you always have the best ideas. Been meaning to tell you that I tried wings YOUR WAY and DH liked them better than mine. Ouch.

Sandy - you could be writing this about yourself - what was that weight loss again - 70 lbs? We are all a success in one way or another. But back to more small steps for a bigger success. Best of luck with your new diet mix.
