Interesting motivational article for us all: Political candidate restarted jogging exercise after injury and did much better on the campaign trail because he was sharper, feeling better, etc... due to running. So running makes some people feel better, not worse.

Weird that I lost so much weight, with relatives in town for dedication. But no sense of loss, deprivation due to not binging on stuff. Last Thursday and Friday, in particular, I just had no junk food at work for once, so I didn't eat any. That saved me 400-2000 calories or so. New apple pie sugarless gum seems to be a good eating stopper. Somehow it's kind of satisfying. Cinnamon?
