I have been trying to walk as much as I can at the gym. However, my right leg goes tingly and somewhat numb after 30 minutes. And I get pain from my hip to my toes.
My son is about 10 months old, and my pelvis still "pops" sometimes and I get pain in the sciatic nerve area.
I know I could go much longer on the treadmill because my left leg feels fine. I also have scoliosis so when I sleep or sit I lean to the right or sleep on my right side which puts all the pressure on my right hip.
Its really annoying and if exercise doesn't help in a couple of weeks I may go see my Dr to see if there is anything I can do. I don't want this to be a hindrance to losing weight!!

Sounds like you've got a compression on a nerve somewhere. Perhaps you can get a referral for a good Chiropractor in your area.

I have a numbness that comes and goes on left hip and went to doctor to see what he thought. He indicated it was a nerve issue and said there was nothing much that could be done about it unless it gets so annoying that I am willing to get invasive and have the nerve deadened. He said he has lived with a partially numb leg for 20 years.
I was hoping that my weight loss would help the wituation but 35 lbs later and it has not.

Ugh, not what I wanted to hear militaryman! :) I will probably go to the chiropractor and if that doesn't help go to the Dr and see if there is anything I can do like cortisone shots or something.

Conventional medicine still has a problem with Chiropractic care. But treatment does not have to be invasive.
I hurt my back 30 years ago, and conventional medicine (MD) put me in bed for 4 months. I was so adamantly opposed to chiro, but I didn;t know about them. T
he next time it happened, I saw a Chiro. I was completely fine after 2 weeks. Completely. Seriously.
Now, when something gets a little tweaky, I go...and I'm all better right away.
You've got to find a good one, but there are so many out there. Don;t be afraid. Just get a good referral.

My kiddos are 18 months apart, the oldest is 38 months and youngest is 20 months and I STILL have hip popping problems and sciatic pain. I remember reading somewhere that it takes up to 5 years for your body to full recover from pregnancy. Might I recommend swimming? It really helped me, especially because my knees and hips still feel "loose." Also, for some reason walking on solida ground is more comfortable that a treadmil, but that's just me.

Fidgekitty, I plan on doing some of the water aerobics once I can get a routine going with my schedule..getting the squirt fed, dressed for the gym, dinner fixed etc. I always miss the scheduled water classes. It takes much longer to get to the gym than it did 3 years ago! hehe

Lol, totally with you! It takes me an hour just to get ready to go to the store. Gotta love the wee ones!
