how do you control your calories intake after fasting? I fast until 11:30 am and feel like I'm starving and I end up over eating like 800 calories...so I'm not really creating a deficit. Any tips or suggestions?

I've noticed that some myself. I can usually fast 12-18 hours with a cup of coffee w/cream, drink plenty of water, and I'm fine with a meal of 500-600 calories. Anything longer than that and I struggle to keep my 'need to feed' at bay. I think it depends on what you eat or don't eat after the 800. If you're doing omad that's not enough for the whole day.

How long have you been fasting? What are your daily calorie goals? It took me a couple of weeks to get used to going 14-16 hours without eating. I drink coffee and at least 32 oz. water in the morning to keep me full. I do not eat between 9:00 PM and 12-1 PM. I usually have a 300-400 calorie meal to "break the fast" then eat two more meals one at 6:00 pm around 400-500 calories, one at 8:00 pm around 400 calories and a snack around 300 calories at 9:00 pm. I was a night time binger. This allows me to eat at night and remain within my calories. Good luck to you.

It depends on what you eat and on your "daily minimum". If it's around 1300cal why not having 800 and then 500? But the best way to break your fast would be eating something low on calories but high in protein and then an hour later you get your usual meal. Anyway, just keep it within your daily cal deficit. You can make it!
