Make sure that you are getting enough protein...that is what works for me. Protein will help keep you feeling full. All you have to do is get through the first two weeks...and I think it is so much harder...
During phase 1 I ate a lot of mozzarella cheese, almonds, eggs, lean meats.
Just make sure that you are ready for the change, if you don't have it in your head that you are going to make this change for the rest of your life, it will be that much harder to do.
I am the same age as you are, and I don't want to get diabetes and not see my daughter grow up.
I have had my wake up call...and believe me I am going to listen...
