Diario de kitty-eared-girl, 30 oct. 14

I went to the orthopedist yesterday. Got some x-rays, nothing broken (which I've known because I've been able to walk without crutches for a few weeks now), but they're supposed to be calling me later today to set up an MRI appointment to see if he is correct in his diagnosis of a possibly torn peroneal tendon. I go back to see him in two weeks and in the interim am to continue wearing my brace and icing the injury. He also gave me a sheet of exercises to try and regain strength in those muscles, but cautioned to not do anything that hurts, because the muscles I'd be working may be damaged as well.

He also said that I have ligament laxity, meaning that my ligaments are loose (which according to Google makes for great gymnasts and dancers, but can also cause chronic pain).

Happy Thursday (and almost Halloween! My one small bright spot in this long week).
