pls help with ways to increase fiber I am backed up like I eat cement bricks I eat half a apple and pear everyday it doesn't help any advice and tips are welcome thnx.

omg that lit happened to me 2 months ago all of a sudden. Tried eating enough fibre and still nothing.
Turns out I just needed to increase my water intake☺️
Try that see if it helps and also drinking a cup of warm water before you eat in the morning helps to relax any tension in the gut.

Avoid seed oils, trust me it pays dividends later. personally use lard and animal fats and butter to cook my eggs, steak and chicken in, no aftertaste and oiliness, no bloating even grilled cheese tastes better. It gets your metabolism going, and your digestion will be better. Fibre is only as good as the source its in, so bread, brans, and oats are the best source.

bran flakes, beans and all types of seeds are high in fiber. bran flakes are like are a fiber cheat-code, so i always have some when i’m struggling and it always works!

Senna tea helped me. A cup at night before bed, for about three days. Works as natural laxative the next morning 😁 and I felt a lot better thereafter. It's herbal, so safe on any diet as far as I know. And stimulates normal digestive processes. Just note, it cannot be used everyday ling term. 7 days is the maximum. Lots of option at Dischem.

Chickpeas have 17g fiber per 100g so it is an excellent source of fiber. But to get things going again try prune juice for a few days. There are many chickpea recipes online. Personally I like it very much in soup..

I add ground flaxseed to my meals as well as hemp seeds. Although I do also follow a whole foods plant based lifestyle, so I get lots of fiber without much effort.
