I am a 42 old male. I have always worked and put my health last, thinking I could always get back in shape. Well that may have been true in my 20's and 30's but now it takes a lot more effort and discipline.
I have attempted fad diets like Atkins, and pills and such but always went back to my old ways and gained back the weight plus more. The way I am eating now is counting my calories with the "calorie counter". My objective is to eat everyday foods, taking care to choose healthy items, counting the calories, and keeping my caloric intake under 2000 calories a day as well as getting enough sleep and exercising. I don't want to have to order special food then have to eat that the rest of my life.
My objective: I started off at 260 lbs. I'm currently walking about 1Hr. three or more times a week. When I get to 230lbs. I plan on picking up the walking to running mixed-up with some P90X and weight lifting. My goal weight is 200lbs.
