Hello all!
My name is Nikki and I am 26 years old. As Im sure many others have, I discovered this site through my Android Calorie Counter App which I use to record everything I eat. I have struggled with my weight as far back as I can remember. I didnt have a pleasant time in junior high or high school because I was never happy with my appearance. Of course I should not have been worried about what others thought about me and been more confident, but unfortunatley I let my weight get the best of me. Even through college and at home I was just lazy and unmotivated all the time as if that was ever gonna get me anywhere. Well, I now have a wonderful husband and 2 year old daughter that have unknowingly helped me to understand that I will only be happy if I lose weight for me. I wanna do it to be healthier and feel better and not just to appear better to other people. I was 189 at my heaviest and I am currently 164. This is the first time in my life that I have ever changed my eating habits and I thank God every day that I finally had the courage to do it. I eat much healthier, record what I eat, and get in a little excersize every single day. My goal is 135 and its not too far away. I will be able to play with my daughter and not run outta breath in 5 minutes. I will have less things to complain to the doctor about because of my weight. I will be able to go on a family vacation to the beach in confidence. I will be more outgoing. I will be a better me.
