I weighed 116.6 yesterday afternoon, and I am recording it. I've decided to record only my lows officially on FS. It keeps me more motivated than seeing a chart showing a little fluctuation. If I am stalled for an amount of time, I can go to the in-between dates on my diet calendar and see what I was doing.
I am excited because this means I have officially lost about 8 lbs, which translates to 2 lbs a week. This is as much as I would have lost on WW, but so much more sustainable.

Weighed in at 118.0. Woohoo, I am .3 lbs away from my last official weigh-in here on FS. Hopefully, my body is getting used to this now and will continue to see that downward trend.
Been going through a rough time at home, with the hubby out of work and I'm about to be laid off. But been good with the diet. I tend to not want to eat during stress though, my stomach is queasy at times, so that is the only positive thing I can say about this. During good times, that is when I want to eat because I'm more sociable and can enjoy my food.

I dreamed I was eating a Hershey's chocolate bar, that I had a lapse in memory and forgot I was on Atkins and freaked out about it. It wasn't even a Godiva or a nice German or Swiss chocolate. Geez! I know why I dreamed this though. I had to go to World Market for something and my hubby asked me to pick him up some chocolate. I have been so strong, but I have to admit that seeing all those gourmet chocolate bars was HARD. Good thing we don't like the same types, so what I got him, dark with orange, wasn't tempting. Does anyone else have crazy diet dreams like that?
The good news is that I watched my carbs, drank plenty of water, and the scale says 118.8. Tomorrow is my official weigh in day, but I had to peek.

Did not really watch my carbs like I should have yesterday but did not think there would be so much counted for in the marinara sauce I made, but with onions and canned tomatoes and sauce, I guess to be expected. Note to self: tomatoes have lots of carbs.
I think this is the first time I've gone over my net 20 carbs, and guess what? It showed up on the scale. I also feel like I did not get enough water in and had very salty olives. So a combo of this and the scale showed 120.1. Very disappointing because I thought I was over the hump. It sucks being in your 40's and trying to lose weight.
Sucking down water today and will definitely watch my carbs!
Another thing to love about being on Atkins is that I waste less food, am more resourceful, and eat out less as well as eating way less crap.
Had some leftover asparagus and hollandaise from a restaurant. Scrambled some eggs, threw in cut-up asparagus, poured the hollandaise over it, added some freshly ground pepper. Yum-O!
