Induction Day 16

Down another 1.4 pounds from yesterday. At this rate, I will definitely lose 10 by Saturday morning's weigh in! Only 1.2 pounds to go! Tomorrow will be the last day of Induction. Moving on.

Admittedly, I have to attribute so much loss this week to just not getting calories in. My calories have been in the 775-1200 range. I'm frightened to think of what will happen once I get back up to 1500! I've just been so busy and not that motivated to eat that much in the evenings. I'm just glad I was still able to lose weight, since I've seen how some people stall when taking in so little calories.

Looking forward to starting the Primal Blueprint Fitness plan! I will slowly get myself back into workout mode now that my knee is better. I'm so glad I have a 5 day weekend coming up. Much to do in that time!

One more day till Friday! Have a good one! in so little calories.

Induction Day 15

Yesterday completed 2 weeks in Induction. I lost another pound which brings me to a total 7.4 pounds. Only 2.6 more to hit the 10 pound mark. I still have hopes of doing that by Saturday morning's weigh in. That would take me down to where I was before I gained all this weight 2 months ago. Then I get to do it again and try to lose the last 10 pounds.

It's been an active week so far. Bowling league on Monday night, volleyball league last night. I think I will look into joining another volleyball league on Sundays. It's just so much fun!

I am going to work on my workout/play schedule today. I want to get in 2-3 strength training sessions, at least 3 30-60 minute cardio sessions, and 3 play days. I got this idea from Primal Blueprint. I know that totals 9, but I think I can do it. It's really only 6 workout days, and then 3 days where I can either rest or play, like bowling or volleyball. Figuring out how to coordinate it all is going to key!

Induction Day 14

Feeling pretty good this morning all things considered. I bowled horribly last night, although I had a great time! I didn't eat any dinner last night, and that resulted in a little loss this morning (1.6 lbs!). :) I failed at getting up to work out this morning, however I did manage to get up and make my breakfast and lunch for today.

It's another gloomy day here in Atlanta. It is drizzling and gray, and this may cause volleyball to be cancelled tonight. Although it may turn out to be just gloomy, in which case we will play.

Today is supposed to be my last day of Induction, but as I said previously, I'm stretching it out until Saturday morning. So Friday will be my last day. I'm hoping I can eek out a couple more pounds before then. Well, 3.6 to be exact. That will be 10 pounds in 17 days. Not great, but not bad either. I know if I can just add exercise back into my routine, I will be more successful.

I have to work on my game plan for transitioning. Add exercise and stay on track with eating. It's funny, I think it's like most things in life. You just have to take it 1 step at a time. Don't obsess. Stay focused. Don't get upset if you mess up. Stay positive. Be active.

Induction Day 13

Monday blues. It's been cloudy all day and just plain gloomy outside. I wasn't really ready for summer to be gone just yet. Fall would be nice, too.

Did not get any of my walking or working out in over the weekend. Shame on me. I did get a lot of sleeping in, so that's good. And getting up this morning at 4:45am to workout didn't work out so well either. But I'll get it together for tomorrow.

This is going to be a challenging week. I'm gonna keep my head up and not get too stressed about it though.

I'm thinking about doing a new challenge that I saw on the Atkins site created by one of the members. It's called MOVE. Basically you don't eat anything unless it is Meat, Oil, Veggies or Eggs. It's pretty drastic, but I think I can do it 5 days, although it calls for 7. Anyone game?
