TOM will be here soon, so I'm gonna cut myself a little slack and not record my small gain. Hubby and I went grocery shopping and filled the cart with nothing but healthy food. Lots of salad and sandwich stuff, and soup for lunches to bring to work. I'm cracking down this week. Been really good all weekend, except had some soda. Agh. Drove all the way to West Palm Beach Saturday to see the dentist and ended up with "minor gum surgery" again as he describes it. In A LOT of pain now though. Mostly from holding my jaw open for 4 hours straight but my gums and lips are so sore it hurts to talk or eat :( All the good painkillers the dr. gave me I can;t really take though cause I have to work and they either make me really sleepy or give me a bad hangover. So I'm on Advil today. I'm gonna start recording again because I really stayed on top of things when I did that and this week I'm gonna start running again. I'm thinking Tues, Thurs, Sat this week and then I'll add a day next week and so on, then I'll start adding time or miles.

A new day, a new start. Last night I am hoping I had my last can of soda for a while. We will see how long I can go for. I need to quit that stuff. I also was very productive around the house even though I didn't get to run cause it was pouring from before I got out of work, love south Florida. So today I am not feeling lethargic or depressed and I think it's cause I accomplished some things yesterday instead of going to sleep at 8pm.
Today I plan to:
1. Do pilates and weights
2. Drink lots of water all day
3. Not eat anything fried, lol
4. Not have a soda.
Today is July 9th and it has been 14 since my last soda, I think I'm doing pretty good so far. Not shaking yet. I need to decide on an acceptable goal for how long I can go, and then reward myself. Like a week? a month? What do you guys think?

OK. I did not hit my water goal yesterday but did get in some exercise at the beach before it started storming again. I think it has rained everyday since we moved in! Anyway, my goals for today are:
1. Drink 64 oz of H2O
2. No soda, only water
3. Weights and pilates tonight
4. Run one mile, knees permitting :)
My knees have been starting to act up a bit with all the humidity but they have done me well so far. My shins hurt a bit while running so I need to stretch them extra good today too!

Ok, actually down a lot from a very stressful weekend. But, I live next to a beach now and am going to become a more relaxed and easy going person because of it, no more stress! I am trying to decorate the inside of my house to be very calming and serene.
Goals today:
1. Drink 64oz of water
2. Allowed one soda, but it has to be caffeine free
3. Run 1 mile
4. Stretch before bed!
I think that;s enough goals for one day.
