Diario de mandabananaba, 04 feb. 19

I almost didn’t record this but I want to be honest with myself as I go through this journey. I did indulge a couple times last week but I logged everything and was always in a calorie deficit, so I thought it would be okay. A couple times I ate at restaurants that didn’t have nutrition info available so I had to estimate though. This could’ve contributed to an inaccurate calorie count.


Another thing is that I started exercising more last week. Just light jogging, walking, and yoga, but I was WAY more active than usual. This could’ve put stress on my body that is causing my weight to go up, but from what I’ve read this can happen when a workout regimen is started, and should fade as I continue. I’m taking it easy today to give my muscles a break. I might’ve done too much on my weak body so I’ll see how I feel tomorrow, listen to my body, and adjust going forward.

Everyone who diets very long has these weeks. Don’t beat yourself up and continue on. I checked today to make sure everyone couldn’t read my food log because I know I’d not be so meticulous about logging bad choices if y’all could bust me on it. LOL

I always think about people looking at my food diary when I log treats or indulgences! What a vulnerable feeling. I don’t think I can make my food diary private and keep my journal entries public though.

Lying 🤥 to urself won’t help, if u lie to the data than when u try to analyze the data it won’t help....cause it ain’t accurate

Oh I know! That’s why I’m honest with myself. There’s no point in tracking if we aren’t honest.
