Today I am doing my 24 hour fast (dinner to dinner) I do 2 a week Mondays and Thursdays as well as IF and realize food is my fuel to have a life and not revolve around what I eat. Went to the gym and started 30 second "runs" on the treadmill and fast walking in between. Hope to get a better pace, bum ankle has been an issue so taking it slow. Doctor wants me to lose 6 lbs by next week and I think that will be a strech so we will see. Keto works for me and still feeling empowered by the choices to have so its all good!

Happy Friday! Gym was deserted I guess all the folks slept in and it was so nice to get on all my equipment and "do my routines" keeps my discplines on track! Food is going well. Years ago I went to OA and it stuck in my head to weigh and measure and it is back and I really see the freedom. I can have all the foods that I like and in measured ammounts allows me to enjoy what I am eating and if I want it again there is always tomorrow! I realize the food I was eating was going to shorten my outlook, don't feel the cravings and when I am eating I am enjoying it. Keto was what I was on all those years back but not labled as such, what goes around come around and I feel grateful to accept the limits of all the junk out there and celebrate the bounty I can have. :)

Back home after visiting the kids for the weekend, Birthday/superbowl party, so much food but was able to keep my choices good, able to get out for a good long walk with husband and the pup to get my body moving and enjoy the sunshine and peace before the festivities. Kids were excited and so much junk food and was able to realize that I have eaten this c%#p so many times and it just isn't making me want them. I know what it all tastes like and most of all I know how I felt after eating it and it never was pretty of satisfying. The chile was tasty over lettuce and so many people were grateful for the choice rather than rice so it looks like we can all shift our thinking to a more healthier decision. Wings were tasty without the fried batter and plenty of vegetables to chose from. Proud of my efforts to stay within my food boundaries and not wake up from a bad food hangover too! Today is a new and bright day and I can't wait to get back to the gym!

Visiting family for the weekend so routine is off, food is ok and will adapt to the moment but stay inside my carb choices. the key is to have fun and enjoy the weekend food won't be the determination people will be!
